Degenerated Political Art
In this project we re-assigned the budget for the artistic production –that comes from public funds– to create a company in a tax haven. To do this we were advised by specialists from the prestigious school of finance ESADE, who have also advised on several cases of diversion of public funds for Catalan politicians, including former Duke Iñaki Urdangarin, son-in-law of Don Juan Carlos I, former King of Spain.
The company created – Güell & Orta Contemporary Art S.A. – allows us to avoid all taxes on our earnings both in Spain and internationally, leveraging the jurisdiction of the country’s subsidiary.
